Priestnall School is a popular, over-subscribed 11-16 school situated in the pleasant residential area of Heaton Mersey, Stockport. Our community benefits from wonderful students and a hard-working and committed staff.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Careers and Post 16 Advisor to join our Outstanding School. The position offers a unique opportunity to make a major contribution towards our continued high achievement. 

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, an outstanding practitioner and a strong team player. A willingness to contribute to the full life of the school is also essential.

Careers, Education, Information and Guidance (CEIAG) aim to help our young people make informed choices about their career development. Our Careers and Post 16 Advisor will be in a unique position to provide them with the information and guidance they need about their future and transition to post 16. 100% of our students progressed into post-16 in the last academic year. 

The successful applicant will take the lead in promotion of Careers and Post 16 information throughout the school and encourage students to participate in events and careers fairs to help them choose the correct pathway.
